Jessica Barrett is a native Minnesotan, born and raised in a rural area of SE MN. She is a graduate of Luther College with a degree in Communication & African Studies, as well as having studied Meeting and Event Management at Dakota County Technical College.
She has been part of the hospitality industry for 10+ years and is the current Director of Operations at ARIA in the warehouse district. Under her direction, ARIA has received multiple awards, from Best Venue by Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine to inclusion as one of the Best Venues in America by Brides magazine. Prior to this she was the Events Manager for the Campus Club at the University of Minnesota. This path has led her to specialize in venue management and development.
Just as she is dedicated to her profession, she also gives her time to non-profit organizations and causes close to her heart. Jessica volunteered with V-Day International for 7 years, starting during her time at Luther College. She has organized fundraisers for numerous Twin Cities charitable organizations, including the A Rotta Love, Anne Sullivan Center, and the MN AIDS Walk. When she’s not managing luxury weddings, large scale corporate events or fundraisers she is always searching for exciting new musical and culinary talent in the Twin Cities.
