UPDATE: We have been busy getting ready for our biggest night of the year: Oscar Night 2011. Join Rocker L.A. Nik on the Red Carpet. Once you get to the 3rd floor, spend the evening with MC Barbara Davis. Ms. Davis, a philanthropist engaged in the community, is best known for being the spokesperson and radio personality for Ken Davis’ BBQ. Barbara’s storytelling flavor will definitely light up the stage for this night of glamour. Tickets go on sale January 1st. Be sure to get them early, you aren’t going to want to miss the only official Oscar party in Minnesota!

The Twin Cities 18-year tradition of hosting an Academy-sanctioned Oscar party continues this year with the Aegis Foundation as the official host. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event are divided between two organizations: The Smile Network, an organization that funds surgical missions and provides necessary supplies needed to repair birth defects; and The Link, an organization that supports youth and their families to their inner strength through life skills, education, advocacy, supportive housing, and a dynamic network of social services to transform lives.
